Your data stays yours

The Vault app

Vault keeps your shop — orders, customers, products, money — in one file on your own computer. We don't receive it, see it or store it. Backups go only where you choose (a USB stick, OneDrive, Google Drive).

Activation

To activate Vault you send us your PC code (a short code made from your computer's ID, which can't be turned back into it) and pay. We keep the PC code, your name or shop name if you give it, and the date your key is good until, to make renewal keys.

Updates

Once a day Vault asks this website which version is the newest, like any visit to a web page. It sends nothing about your shop, your PC code or your activation.

Your online shop

If you use the online shop, it runs on your own Cloudflare account. Your customers' order details wait there only until Vault receives them, and are then deleted online.

This website

No cookies, no trackers, no advertising. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may keep basic technical logs to keep the site safe.
